My name is Valerie, but most call me Val. I was born and raised in the hills of West Virginia, where each fall the mountains paint themselves with brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges. West Virginia taught me to say, “Yes, sir” and “Thank you, ma’am” and gave me a love for family and nature. And whenever I want to go back, those Country Roads always lead me home.
But I crave adventure.
I’ve danced along the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by blissful sunflowers. I’ve walked a two-foot wide catwalk 876 feet above rushing water. I’ve gotten my phone back from a pickpocket, and I’ve moved to New York City with a half-sedated cat to pursue my dancing dreams.
I’m a dancer with a passion for the arts; a New Yorker with a West Virginian’s heart. I love daisies and red wine, writing poetry and evolving experiences.
I may be but little… well, I’ll let Shakespeare handle that line.
